I think this is great! What's involved in set-up?
- we give you access to artMail in my.art.net.au
- we set up your 'gallery emailing profile' with your logo
- we construct subscribe /unsubscribe web pages (subscription pages) that automatically update your mailing list
- we supply your web developer with a simple piece of code which allows your visitors to use these subscription pages
How do I manage my subscribers?
Through subscription pages, a pair of web pages are needed to ensure that your clients can freely unsubscribe from (or join) your mailing list - the Spam Act (2003) requires the provision of a pathway for users to change their subscription status.
If your website was not developed, redesigned or converted by Art Network Australia, and you would like to use our artMail system, don't worry! We will develop the required subscription pages to match your existing website free of charge.
To complete the integration of these subscription pages into your artMail powered emails, you will need to have the person responsible for your website make a couple of minor additions to your website code (don't worry, these will in no way affect your existing website). Full instructions for your webmaster are linked in MY.art.net.au (the control centre for artMail) under the heading "artMail Webmaster Instructions" - login and print these out for your developer.
